My German Shepherd puppies are currently priced at $2,000 each.
Like many responsible breeders, my pricing may change in the future as the costs of health testing, veterinary care, nutrition, and raising exceptional puppies continue to increase. This page explains exactly how my pricing, deposits, and payment schedule work.

Although this is my very first litter, I’ve invested an enormous amount of time researching responsible breeding, selecting outstanding parents, completing comprehensive health testing, and following modern puppy-raising practices.
My focus is on giving every puppy the healthiest, happiest start in life – not on producing large numbers of puppies.

When you bring home one of my puppies, you’re receiving far more than a registered German Shepherd puppy.

📈 How German Shepherd Puppy Pricing Works
My puppies are currently $2,000 each.
From time to time, puppy prices may change to reflect increasing costs and changing market conditions.
If prices change in the future, I won’t automatically notify everyone on my waiting list, but I’m always happy to answer questions about current pricing.
🔒 Locking In Your Puppy Price
The puppy price quoted in your first email or message is the price you’ll pay, provided that:
✅ Your waiting list deposit of $500 is received within 7 days.
✅ You accept the first puppy offered that matches the preferences you gave when joining my waiting list.
If you choose to postpone to a later litter for personal reasons, your puppy will be purchased at the pricing in effect at that time.
If a future price increase no longer suits your circumstances, I’ll happily refund your waiting list deposit in full if you decide not to remain on the list.
Important: By placing a reservation deposit, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the information on this Puppy Pricing page and the Purple Pups GSD Purchase Agreement. Reservation deposits are accepted only after buyer approval and are subject to the policies described on this page.
💳 Payment Schedule
Once you accept your place in a litter, payments are made in three simple stages.
💵 Waiting List Deposit
Your initial deposit of $500 secures your place on my waiting list.
🐾 Litter Confirmation Payment
When puppies are born and you accept your allocated litter, an additional $1,000 payment is due within 3 days.
🏠 Final Payment
The remaining balance is due when your puppy reaches 9 weeks of age, which is normally pickup day.

📅 Reservation Position & Puppy Matching
Your position on my reservation list is determined by the date your $500 deposit is received.
However, your position does not mean you simply get first pick of the puppies.
At around 7 weeks of age, I temperament test each puppy. I also ask each reserved family to complete my Puppy Matching Questionnaire so I can better understand your family, lifestyle, experience, and what you’re hoping for in your future German Shepherd.
I use both to determine which puppies are the best match for each family.
If more than one family is a good match for the same puppy, the family whose deposit was received first will have priority for that puppy.
For example, if two families would both be a wonderful fit for Puppy A, the family who reserved their place first would have priority. I would then work with the next family to determine which of the remaining suitable puppies is the best match for them.
This allows me to honor the order in which families reserve while still keeping temperament and long-term compatibility at the heart of every puppy placement.
Your deposit reserves your place in the matching process, not a particular puppy.

⏳ If I Cannot Provide a Puppy
If I’m unable to provide you with a puppy within the time frame estimated in my original email, and you choose not to remain on the waiting list, I’ll promptly refund your deposit in full.
💲 If You Cancel Before Being Allocated a Puppy
If you decide to leave the waiting list before being allocated a puppy, your deposit will be refunded less a $100 administration fee.
🔄 If You Cancel After Accepting a Puppy
If you’ve accepted a puppy and later need to postpone, any payments you’ve made will not be refunded. Instead, they’ll be held as a credit toward your next puppy from Purple Pups GSD.
🐾 Puppies Staying Beyond Pickup Day
Final payment must be completed before your puppy reaches 9 weeks of age, which is the normal pickup day.
If you need your puppy to stay with me for a little longer, I’ll continue to care for them with the same love and attention they receive every day.
However, once your puppy reaches pickup age, any extended stay is entirely at the owner’s risk.
